The Puraq Company's operating group has spent two years validating the water desalination process that Dr. Leon Lazare invented prior to his death in 1999.
We have been fortunate in having had the expertise of Dr. Allan Myerson, provost of the Illinois Institute of Technology and an expert in the field of polymer chemistry. He worked with Dr. Lazare as part of the original development process and continues to serve as an advisor. We expect that Dr. Myerson will continue to be available for future research and development efforts.
The Puraq Company is now searching for seed capital so that work on the process can continue to move forward. The next step is construction of a working bench-top model. Budgeted at $250,000, this stage will enable the company to:
- Establish the practicality of the Puraq process.
- Refine the technology.
- Generate patentable technological improvements useful in strengthening the company's legal position.
- Develop an important marketing tool for the construction of a pilot plant.
Our group consists of four family members who share total responsibility for the company's activities. We are seeking a partner with the resources and expertise to propel the process forward toward commercial development. That could mean either:
A two step process:
- Providing funding for the bench-top model.
- Working with us to obtain further financing for the pilot plant.
Or a one step process:
- Providing the resources needed to guide the process from research and development to full-scale commercialization.
If you would like to discuss the Puraq Company and our desalination process further, please contact Daniel Lazare at (212) 579-4248 or respond by email to our website.
